The 4th Annual South Florida Ukulele Fest 2015 will once again showcase several world famous ukulele artists and teachers for ukulele skills workshops and performances at ArtServe (1350 East Sunrise Blvd., at Holiday Park, Fort Lauderdale), starting on the evening of Friday, March 20th (6-10 pm) and then for a full day on Saturday March 21st, 2015 (9 a.m.- 5:00 pm and Concert 6:00 pm to 10 pm).

Presented by F.U.N. Florida Ukulele Network, this year’s featured artists and instructors include:

• James Hill & Anne Janelle of The Ukulele Way and Ukulele Yes! touring in support of their latest CD “The Old Silo”. James will conduct a Ukulele Skills Master Class for all on Saturday and will headline Saturday night’s concert.

• Gerald Ross multi-instrumentalist known for his mastery of ukulele, guitar and lap steel guitar performing in many musical styles including swing, blues, Hawaiian, American roots music and Tin Pan Alley.

Other outstanding performers and instructors participating this year are Tommy Stryder, Big Jim Allen and The Aloha Band (Ty & Mapuana and guests).

In addition to ukulele skills workshops offered all day on Saturday for musicians of all skills levels, the Festival also features ukulele and music vendors offering the best new ukuleles and supplies in all price ranges. Our eagerly anticipated raffle is also back this year, in which several beautiful instruments and other desirable prizes will be awarded to lucky attendees.

As always, the highlight of the South Florida Ukulele Fest is a wonderful concert on Saturday evening with all these talented artists that is open to the public. Tickets for Saturday night’s concert tickets will be offered (space available) in March.
